BATON ROUGE – LSU’s secondary got a boost on Thursday as cornerback Terrence Alexander, a transfer from Stanford, officially signed with the Tigers.
Alexander, who prepped at John Curtis in New Orleans, will be eligible immediately as he’s coming to LSU as a graduate transfer.
In four years at Stanford, Alexander appeared in 41 games with 57 tackles, one interception and eight passes defended. He had his senior season cut short after just one game when he was injured in the season-opener against Rice.
Alexander will have one season of eligibility remaining when he joins the Tigers for the 2018 season as he’s already been granted a medical redshirt for the 2017 season.
At John Curtis, Alexander helped his team capture three state titles from 2011-13. He was also part of indoor and outdoor track and field titles from 2011-13.
