Guidry commits to LSU

Louisiana native and four-star junior college wide receiver Stephen Guidry has announced his decision to commit to LSU once again.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound receiver was once a LSU commitment before re-opening the process back in September when Les Miles was fired.

A Wednesday phone call from new LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada and receivers coach Dameyune Craig went a long way with Guidry picking the Tigers over Mississippi State and Arizona State.

“I talked to the coach and he was telling me how I could be a big part in their offense,” said Guidry in an interview with TigerBait Thursday evening. “He’s a cool coach. He’s changing LSU’s offense where they’ll be throwing the ball more.”

LSU now has 19 commitments for their class of 2017.
