Johnson commits to LSU

The LSU football program picked up some much needed great news Friday afternoon as Rivals.com 5-star wide receiver Tyron Johnson of Warren Easton High School in New Orleans announced his commitment to LSU.
Johnson, the number one overall prospects in the state of Louisiana for the class of 2015 chose LSU over Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. He also had scholarship offers from most of the nation's top programs.

"I chose LSU because my friends, family and everyone can watch me play," Johnson said. "Coach Frank Wilson is a great guy and we've developed a great relationship."
LSU running backs coach and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson is responsible for the recruiting of Johnson.
The commitment of Johnson gives LSU their 17th commitment for the 2015 recruiting year. He is also the Tigers second wide receiver in this class along with Jazz Ferguson of West Feliciana.
