LSU CWS bracket breakdown

For most of the college baseball season, three teams - North Carolina, Vanderbilt and LSU - stood above the rest.
With eight teams preparing for the start of the College World Series Saturday, the Commodores are home. The Tar Heels and the Tigers find themselves in the same bracket of the CWS. The winner of this bracket could be the one which takes two of three potential games between North Carolina and LSU.

The Tar Heels have not done it in a pretty fashion, but they were able to survive a regional and a super-regional at Chapel Hill. North Carolina also won both the ACC regular-season and tournament title.
Both UCLA and North Carolina State were awarded bids to the NCAA tournament. The Bruins finished third in the Pac-12 behind Oregon State and Oregon. The Wolfpack finished fourth in the ACC behind North Carolina, Virginia and Florida State. North Carolina State lost two of three games to the Tar Heels.
UCLA is not a good offensive team, but does have solid pitching. David Berg, who has 21 saves, is one of the best closers in the country. North Carolina State No. 1 pitcher Carlos Rodon is talented enough to send North Carolina into the losers' bracket Sunday.
Here is information regarding LSU's bracket in the College World Series.
