LSU junior cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. hasn't done an interview with media since his freshman season.

Meaning, he doesn't do a lot of talking, but the Tigers soft-spoken star player made the journey with Ed Orgeron and Austin Deculus to represent the purple and gold at SEC Media Days on Monday.

Stingley spoke about everything from not wanting to opt out last season, NIL, the upcoming season and quarterback battle, plus advice he got from Tyrann Mathieu.
