FROM THE LOCKER ROOM

Coach Ed Orgeron’s comments: “This was a tremendous job by our team. That’s three SEC victories in a row. We were in a hole three weeks ago and we dug ourselves out of that hole. We challenged our team to play with more of a sense of urgency in the second half. We fought. We knew we were going to have to fight. We needed to run the football. That was a tremendous job by Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams of being physical. It was hard for Ole Miss to defend them. Derrius is finally healthy. We thought we could get Darrel out in the flat vs. man coverage. I thought our defensive backs played a heck of a game. We were in man coverage 80 percent of the time. We needed that game from Arden Key. He had some pressure. He’s just getting into playing shape now.”
