LSU (3-3) got a must-needed win last week over Arkansas and this week the Tigers travel to No. 5 Texas A&M (5-1) to play at Kyle Field at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Here are a few quick history facts and game notes about the Tigers and Aggies:

-- The 2018 LSU game vs. A&M is one for the record books. It was called the game of the year in college football with LSU falling 74-72 in a 7OT loss to Texas A&M in College Station.

-- LSU will face one of its former assistant coaches for the 20th time on Saturday when the Tigers meet Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies.

-- Last year, LSU posted a 50-7 win over the Aggies in Tiger Stadium.
