Magee commits

After insisting as recent as a couple of weeks ago that he wouldn't offer an early commitment Franklinton three-star offensive lineman Adrian Magee did an about face on Sunday.

Magee confirmed via text that he indeed committed to LSU and became the 10th overall pledge in the Tigers current recruiting class.

The 6-foot-3, 352-pound Magee, a two-year starter at offensive tackle, projects to play guard in college.

In a recent interview with TigerBait.com Magee, whose only other scholarship offer was from Louisiana Tech, said he was receiving interest from Alabama, Mississippi State and Oklahoma. He becomes the third member at a critical position where the Tigers also have five-star offensive tackle Maea Teuhema of Keller, Texas and projected offensive tackle Hanner Shipley of Marble Falls, Texas.
