Morgan waiting out the process

Ever since rumors started floating around that the 6-foot-4, 336-pound Lancaster, Texas offensive guard Anthony Morgan had made an early commitment to LSU, things have actually quieted down for the talented Texan.
With finals coming up in less than a week, the highly touted Morgan is waiting things out on the recruiting front. Several schools that he had been favoring early on have either offered or talked about one in the near future. Including the Tigers, where it looked he would be heading after word spread of an early decision.

"Well, LSU came back to look at me and they said that they wanted to see me again," Morgan said. "I've got a verbal offer from them, but that's it for now."
Morgan says that Oklahoma has also made him aware of the fact that they are only taking two offensive lineman this year. Between now and Signing Day, Morgan said that the Sooner staff will evaluate him further.
Iowa State, however, along with Texas A&M are both showing interest in regards to yet another written offer for him.
"Iowa State came through and they called me for their one call in May," Morgan said. "They said that an offer could be coming soon."
Texas A&M and Baylor are two teams leading the way, for now.
"The coahces are real cool at A&M and I think they're building something there with the program," Morgan said. "I like A&M football. The Baylor coaches, and really the offensive line coach and I have a big connection."
The Tigers are not far behind the others and an offer could change things.
"They're up in that top group," Morgan said. "I'm not going to lie. They're in that category with some of the others."
Morgan plans to hit the Texas A&M camp in June along with the Oklahoma State one as well.
