FROM THE LOCKER ROOM

Coach Johnny Jones’ comments: “We got down in the first half and fought back. In the second half, Auburn’s offensive rebounds killed us. Turnovers certainly hurt and created easy scoring opportunities for them. They got in a rhythm and the shooters they had on the floor exploded. Most teams have played better than they generally do on the offensive end of the floor against us. It’s been tough because we haven’t been able to give them resistance throughout. We’re hopeful that at some point things will click defensively and we will get enough stops and score enough points to be a difference.”
