Saivion Smith commits to LSU

The LSU coaching staff is putting together a recruiting class that will be one of the nation's elite for 2016. Tuesday afternoon five-star defensive back Saivion Smith of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida announced his commitment to the Tigers.
"Me and my family, we prayed about it and talked about it a lot," Smith said. "We feel like we want to bring an end to the recruiting process. I'm going to take my talents and play football at the next level for Louisiana State University. For the Tigers."

The highly talented Smith chose LSU over Florida State, Florida and many others.
LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond is recruiting Smtih for the Tiger's coaching staff. The Rivals.com No.1 rated safety gives LSU seven commitments for their Class of 2016.
Smith visited LSU this past weekend for the programs junior day event on Saturday. While he does plan on taking official recruiting visits Smith says he's not wavering.
"I am 100 percent committed to LSU," Smith said on ESPN.com.
