Tae Provens commits to LSU

Gurley, Alabama running back Tae Provens abruptly ended the recruiting process Saturday evening as he announced his commitment to LSU.

The Class of 2018 back committed to LSU over Auburn, Tennessee, Louisville and South Carolina.

"After countless hours of long talks with my family, I'm blessed to say that I'm 100-percent committed to Louisiana State University," Provens stated in his Twitter post.

Earlier this month Provens stated that he would announce his college choice on August 11, but he obviously changed his mind.

Provens finished his junior season with for 1,264 yards and 17 touchdowns. He gives the Tigers 20 commitments for the class of 2018.
