Top-50 running back prospect Trevonte Citizen dropped his verbal pledge from LSU via Twitter. The 4-star prospect committed to LSU in July.
Citizen has remained solid in his pledge to the Tigers despite the departure of Ed Orgeron and the uncertainty surrounding the program. The announcement came on the heels of a 27-24 Tigers victory over Texas A&M on Saturday. But the Tigers are leaving the weekend without a coach in place.
LSU now has 13 commits in the 2022 class and the overall class ranking of No. 13 is likely to change after the change is calculated. CItizen's departure also leaves LSU without a running back in the class as this juncture.
