As LSU is my favorite team in the SEC, and 2nd overall, I was wondering about the 2013 LSU offensive line. I know you had a few losses to the NFL, and judging by the rivals depth chart the line looks pretty young (although very talented). I am curious to hear the fans thoughts on what to expect from the line this year.

Do you think the youth will be an issue at the start of the season?

LSU lost 8 from their defense to the draft, Spencer Ware was the only offensive player taken. Are you asking about the DL?

I think the OL will be a strength this year.  They started 2 freshman on the left side, and they held their own in SEC play.  The C position is the only ? mark, but I know Porter or Pocic will be ready.  On the DL, the starting group is fine, but depth is a ? at this point.  However, LSU puts DL in the NFL frequently, and someone always steps up.  Talent all over.

If LSU makes it through Sept undefeated, look out.

The two new starters you guys had last year after the injuries (I thought they were on the right side tho???) were more than adequate last year. I honestly thought they looked better than the rest of the OL especially with run blocking. Those two FR looked dominant at times.

Yes, on the right side...not sure where my brain was when I typed that.  Alexander and Turner on the right, with Collins and Williford on the left.  Porter at C.  Watch out for Jerald Hawkins and Fanaika.

I believe Les has an extremely good chance of making this his 7th consecutive year without an August/September loss.

Also eager to see LSU 1st Tongan player Fehoko Fanaika's impact on the OL.

LT - Collins, JR, returning starter
LG - Williford, SR returning starter
RG - Turner, SO, returning starter
RT - Alexander, SO, returning starter
C  - Porter, JR, first year starter

Starting OL should be very good, not much experience amongst the backups. All backups were VERY HIGHLY recruited.

What I did notice over the spring is LSU had TWO OL coaches. With Cam taking over the offense, Stud was able to spend ALL his time with the OL. Not once in all the video of spring drills did I ever see Miles working with any position group besides the OL.
