2019 WR Kenyon Jackson commits to LSU

The wide receiver position is one of need in the LSU program and Ed Orgeron and staff picked up a big commitment at the spot Tuesday evening.

Class of 2019 receiver Kenyon Jackson of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia announced his pledge to the Tigers.

LSU was the first school to extend a scholarship offer to the The 6-foot-5, 200-pound wide receiver back in January.

Jackson committed to LSU over subsequent offers from Georgia, Florida, Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee and others.

In an interview with Rivals.com recruiting analyst Chad Simmons three weeks ago he said, "Yes, it was my first offer, so that was cool, but LSU was my dream school growing up, so that made it even better. My first time there was for their spring game and I had a great time.

"I really like the fans at LSU. I was there for the spring game and they were always into the game, they supported the team and it was great. I also got to see the campus, watch practice, sit in on meetings and I loved it all. Everything at LSU was great."

Jackson is being recruited to LSU by Tiger football program General Manager Austin Thomas.
