Destrehan High DB Jhase Thomas has received a scholarship offer from LSU after attending this month's Tigers Elite Camp. The 6'3", 180 lb. safety put up impressive numbers, running back-to-back 4.4, 40-yard dashes.

Thomas made the announcement via his Twitter/X account.

Thomas is the son of former New Orleans Saints DB Fred Thomas, who played for 8 years in New Orleans. He has also received offers from Texas Tech, Houston and Ole Miss among others and will reportedly make his decision next month on his July 13th, his 18th birthday.
