The LSU-Auburn game is one of two contests already announced by the network involving the Tigers in 2006. LSU will face Arkansas in Little Rock on Friday, Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m. Any other games involving LSU and CBS will be announced six to 12 days prior to the day of the game, the network said.
CBS also announced that Gary Danielson will join Verne Lundquist and Tracy Wolfson for SEC telecasts this year. Danielson, who spent 13 years as a quarterback in the NFL, joins CBS this year after holding the same position at ESPN since 1997. Danielson replaces Todd Blackledge, who departed CBS to join ESPN.
