LSU gets the big-time JUCO tackle they coveted in Traore

LSU offensive line coach Jeff Grimes did a tremendous amount of ground work pursuing his target and on Thursday he and Ed Orgeron sealed the deal.

Four-star junior college offensive tackle Badara Traore was visited by Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron on Thursday in Brooklyn, New York while his parents host him Thursday evening in Boston.

In between those two visits Traore made his decision known publicly via his Twitter feed.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Traore is a huge pickup for the LSU program as the offensive tackle position is very thin on the Tigers roster.

With his pledge, the Tigers class of 2018 now has 19 verbal commitments. He is also a midterm graduate and will be enrolled at LSU for the spring semester where he can compete during spring drills.

Traore committed to LSU over Texas, Auburn and others.
