ARLINGTON (Texas) -- Jonathan Giles made his LSU debut in his home state of Texas.

In the process, his Tigers notched a 33-17 victory over No. 8 Miami. While No. 7 only hauled in one reception, he was impressed by the performance of quarterback Joe Burrow, and more importantly, the season-opening victory.
