Rivals100 tackle Walker Little is planning visits

Houston (Texas) Episcopal Rivals100 offensive tackle Walker Little is preparing to hit the road. Ole Miss will receive an April 9 visit, and he will be at Texas the weekend after. In May, he will visit Stanford, and there are a few other visits in the works.

“I think I’m going to make it out to Alabama and Auburn in the same weekend, and I’m trying to get Oklahoma. The coaches have been talking to me lately, so I think I may try and make it out there,” Little said. “And I think Marvin and I might be going up to A&M this weekend.”

In addition to the schools above, TCU also remains high on his list of options, and he also continues to talk to LSU.

Jeff Grimes and Ed Orgeron are Walker’s main two contacts with LSU, and while he does not have a visit scheduled, he is certainly open to the possibility of Baton Rouge visit.

“I haven’t made any plans, but I’m sure if Marvin (Wilson) or one of the other kids on our team wants to go out we’ll probably make it out there,” Little said. “It’s pretty close. It’s kind of like A&M where you don’t have to plan it out too much and you can get out there real quick.”

Little is also well aware of what the Tiger program brings to the table.

“Definitely the winning tradition they have there,” Little said. “It seems like they have a real brotherhood with their team and have each other’s backs. They’ve had really good offensive linemen come out of there with the latest one being Lael Collins last year. They’re a really good program and there’s a bunch of LSU fans I know and they’re all real diehard. They get crazy fan support and the game atmosphere there is second to none.”

The 6-foot-7, 295-pound offensive tackle is currently ranked No. 95 in the Rivals100 and No. 10 in Texas. He earned offensive line MVP at the Dallas RCS and he has been invited to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge.
